This is an authentic US - military watch designed and built according to specifications defined in MIL-W-46374 F. and is a development of the watch shown in the final image. These are the first military timepieces ever to be equipped with the patented mb-microtec H3 permanent light technology. Thousands of these two H3 models have been issued to the men and women of the US Armed Forces. Now, also available to civilians with the only departure from the military version being the addition of a date window - the non dated version is also available if preferred.

This model is a self-luminous infantry watch which is equipped with a special tritium light source. The watch is very easy to read and carries standard 12 hours markings with 24-hour annotation. The distinctive radioactive tri-foil symbol appears on the watch face, as does the H3 (Tritium) notation. Taken together the tritium tubes contain less than the personal limit of 25 millicuries (U.S Nuclear Regulatory Commission regulations 10 CFR 20.15.).

These tiny, airtight Tritium vials, sealed under high pressure are 100 times brighter than any other current illumination system such as luminova, bright enough, in fact, to read a map if the watch is held close enough.

If your preference is for the classic 1990s U.S design but with this cutting edge military technology then this watch is the one for you.

This watch has an extended 45-month battery life and is lightweight at only 34g.
